Pune divisional commissioner Vikas Deshmukh, [chairma-monitoring committee -Panchganga river pollution], has given deadline of February 10, 2015 for seeking action plan for restricting pollution in the river.
According to Deshmukh there has to be an action plan to be submitted to the high court. Earlier, the proposal with the Kolhapur Municipal Corporation for setting up sewage treatment plant and processing plants.
