The Odisha Water Supply and Sewerage Board (OWSSB) will provide fund to Sambalpur Municipal Corporation to construct 25 community toilets, three ‘dhobi ghats’ besides renovating the crematorium at Kamlibaza along with it they will provide financial support to Water Resources Department for development of the river front on the bank of river Mahanadi flowing along the city.The Water Resources Department will complete the river front development work at four places along the Ring Road on the bank of river Mahanadi where bathing ghats, changing rooms and platforms will be constructed.
All the projects under non-core component will be executed at an estimated cost of Rs 11.83 crore.
